How about a cheap & easy desserts?
Summer’s com'in and here comes the heat…so lets “Fire it Up” with
season’s grill recipe:
Chunky Cheese Nachos:
½ cup non-alcoholic beer
1 tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. onion powder
1 16 oz. can refried beans - 16 ounces
½ cup chunky hot salsa
1 16 oz package Velveeta cheese cut into 1/2 inch pieces
¼ cup fresh cilantro - chopped
1 bag tortilla chips
Combine beer, cumin, dried oregano, and garlic powder in heavy medium sauce pan. Bring to a simmer. Add beans and salsa, stir until heated through. . Add Velveeta cheese. Stir until cheese melts (approx. 3 minutes). Stir in cilantro and transfer to a bowl. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
