How about a cheap & easy desserts?

Go Cajun:
My Creole sisters & brothers have gotten it down with this one! If you are talk’ in about dessert in “Nalins”, you have to talk about Banana Foster!

Banana Foster:

½ stick of unsalted butter
2 heaping tbs. of dark brown sugar
4 bananas (sliced)
3 oz. banana liquor
3 oz. Captain Morgan spiced rum
1 pinch of ground cinnamon
Non fat vanilla ice cream

Melt the butter on pan and add the sugar, add bananas. Once bubbling and bananas begin to soften, turn up to high for 1 minute then shut off. Add the rum and turn the burner back on to medium – high (always keep the rum away from the open flame). Tip the pan to ignite the flame. “Dust” the flame with some ground cinnamon (watch the “voodoo dust” sparkle in the flames). Once flame goes out stir and serve over vanilla ice cream.
